Aqaba old Tourist information center came into operation in September 2005 under the umbrella of the Marketing and Tourism Directorate at the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority in order to promote the city of Aqaba as a global high-quality tourism destination, improve tourism services, and place Aqaba on the world map and enhance its identity.

The concept of the center as a whole is the first of its kind in Jordan and the region, it provides unique services and information to meet tourist expectations and enrich the tourism experience, and all tourists visiting the center can obtain sufficient information on attractions, guidance, and advice in and around Aqaba

With the new location and facilities, tourists can spend much more time inside by watching a movie, browsing brochures, and enjoying the garden. Again, it is in the heart of the city and close to all facilities and attractions and visible to all visitors.
