The ACED Program holds an introductory session to inform potential future business partners

27 May 2008

The Aqaba Community and Economic Development (ACED) Program held an introductory session in Amman on May 22, 2008, to explain to all interested companies and consultants how they may participate in the ACED Program locally-acquired technical assistance program.

A presentation was given to explain the methodology used under the ACED Program Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) program: what the rules are, who is eligible and how to apply. After the presentation, the 50 plus attendees were allowed an open period for questions, which were answered by the ACED Program COP Larry Hearn and the Project Administrator Ahmad Husseini.

The ACED Program urged all interested companies and independent consultants to send in their proposals explaining the services they render in their fields of specialization.

Applications for the initial scope of work under this IQC Methodology are due to be sent to the ACED Program offices by June 15, 2008.
